The Collinsville Community Unit School District #10 Report Card for 2025.

Kahok Families:

This morning, the Illinois State Board of Education (ISBE) released School Report Cards at IllinoisReportCard.com. Each report card shows how schools are progressing on a wide range of educational goals.

The 2025 Illinois Report Card (IRC) is a detailed look at student and district performance data from the 2024-25 school year.

Summative Designations

One component of the School Report Card is the summative designation – a descriptor of how

well a school is meeting the needs of all students. Illinois is required by federal accountability law to assign each school a descriptor of how well it is meeting the needs of its students.

Designations are based on academics, as well as school quality and student success indicators: English language arts (ELA) growth and proficiency, math growth and proficiency, science proficiency, English learner progress to proficiency, chronic absenteeism, climate survey and graduation rate (high school only).

ISBE’s annual summative designations recognize schools with strong overall performance across a range of academic and student success indicators, and identify schools with the greatest need for additional support.

Things to note about the Collinsville school district’s performance on the 2025 IRC:

  • The accountability depicted in the Illinois State Report Cards is relational to how schools across the state are performing. Target ranges for the various designations change as Illinois’ schools evolve. The 2025 report cards are a snapshot of how schools are meeting the needs of students compared to annual targets determined by ISBE. It is important to not over-interpret the data. Look for trends indicating each school's growth and performance.

  • Webster Elementary School was recognized with EXEMPLARY status because its growth was in the top 10% of all schools in the State.

  • Collinsville Middle School earned the TARGETED SUPPORT designation this year because two student groups were deemed to be underperforming: Native Americans and Children with Disabilities.  A Targeted Support designation initiates targeted school improvement status and the school begins a four-year cycle of school improvement.

  • CUSD 10 schools’ EXEMPLARY and COMMENDABLE designations, as well as Collinsville Middle School’s positive performance for most student groups, reflect investments the district has made in instructional staff, social emotional supports, STEM, early intervention programs and Positive Behavior Intervention Support (PBIS) to meet the academic and social emotional needs of our students.

Collinsville Community Unit School District #10 holds high expectations for all students and believes every student can meet expectations with the right support. CUSD 10 teachers, administrators and staff, in partnership with the community, continue to focus on student academic and social emotional growth.

“Today we celebrate the accomplishments of the past year while continuing to focus on growth and improvement,” said CUSD 10 Superintendent Dr. Mark B. Skertich. “We value the teamwork between home, school, and our community that helps our students grow academically and socially from kindergarten through 12th grade.  It’s also important to note we still have work to do as a district and that will be our continued focus moving forward.”
