The Kahoks celebrated 2025 National Hispanic Heritage Month (September 15-October 15) with many events, lessons and projects in the district.  

A special experience for elementary students was presented by the Collinsville High School Hispanic Heritage Club.  Club members visited Kreitner and Caseyville Elementary Schools to present a celebration of Hispanic traditions and heritage.  The party included games, crafts and performances.  

For Hispanic Heritage Month, our district is sharing information about the terms Hispanic and Latino and how they are used.  The document - in English and Spanish - is attached.
