The holiday season is in full swing and there are less than three weeks until Winter Break begins. 

Survey Responses Needed for Strategic Planning

We recognize that families are exceptionally busy this time of year, however, we are asking you to take five minutes to complete a survey.  The responses will help us create a new strategic plan to serve as a road map for the district over the next five years.  We have asked staff members, students, parents and community members to participate.

Update on School Safety Upgrades

At the November board of education meeting, a contract was finalized with City Wide Alarms to install safety film on doors and glass enclosures near entryways throughout our district.  The work will be completed over the next few months and provide another layer of security in school facilities.  This project is funded by the ballot initiative approved by voters in March of 2024.  

Kahok Hall of Fame

The Collinsville CUSD 10 Kahok Hall of Fame 2025 inductees will be announced at halftime of the Kahoks’ 6:00 p.m. game in the Prairie Farms Holiday Classic in Fletcher Gym on Friday, December 27. Tickets are on sale for the 2025 dinner and induction ceremony to be held on Thursday, February 13.  Use this link to reserve your tickets.  Please note: seating is limited; the event has sold out in previous years.

Congratulations CHS Illinois State Scholars

Each year the Illinois Student Assistance Commission recognizes seniors that meet the criteria to be Illinois State Scholars.  To receive this honor, a high school student must perform in the top half of their high school class at the end of the third semester prior to graduation and/or score at or above the 95th percentile on the ACT or SAT.
